Presentation Proposal Form

To propose a presentation for the 2008 GaCOMO convention, complete and submit the form below. To propose more than one presentation, simply complete and submit the form separately for each proposal. If you have any questions before making your proposal, please e-mail Michelle Lenderman.

As usual, all presenters who are engaged in the library/media profession in Georgia must register and pay for the conference at the published rates. New this year, however, is a $10 rebate that will be paid to each such presenter on site in Athens.

Pre-conference sessions will be scheduled within the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. inclusive on Wednesday, October 15, in the afternoon unless there is reason to start earlier in the day. Conference sessions will be scheduled at various times during the conference days of Wednesday, October 15 through Friday, October 17.

Proposals received by May 31, 2008 will receive full consideration. Acceptance/rejection letters will be mailed by June 30, 2007.

Program Proposal Form Guidelines

* All presenters are expected to register for the conference and pay registration fees. *

  1. Please observe all deadlines. Proposals submitted after May 31, 2007 may be rejected, particularly if the conference program schedule is already full.

  2. Please fill in the program proposal form completely. Incomplete proposals may be subject to rejection.

  3. Program presenters who are members of COMO organizations (GAIT, GEPA, GLA, and GLMA) are ineligible to receive honorariums or travel/housing expenses.

  4. Pre-Conference programs must pay for themselves. Registration fees must cover all costs involved, including honorariums and travel/housing expenses.

  5. COMO does not make travel arrangements for speakers and presenters. Presenters and/or the proposers are responsible for making these arrangements. Travel expenses should be based on the lowest available economy fares. Honorariums should be kept as low as possible.

By clicking the submit button below I indicate that I have read the guidelines, agree to abide by them, and will register for the conference.
